Affiliate Disclosure

Plain-English explanation of how Mates Win makes money, and what that means for the reviews you read here.

Last updated: 17 April 2026

The short version

Mates Win earns a referral commission from Crikey7, Bonza7 and Dinkum33 when you register at any of them through a link on this site. Commission is paid by the gaming platform, not by you. It does not change your bonus, your odds, or the service you receive. We disclose this openly because it is the right thing to do — and because the Australian Consumer Law and the ACCC expect it.

1. Why This Page Exists

Mates Win is an affiliate marketing hub. That means we publish content about third-party gaming platforms, and when someone registers at one of those platforms through our site, the platform pays us a commercial referral fee. Affiliate marketing is a standard and legal business model, but it only works ethically if the commercial relationships are disclosed up front. This page does that.

2. Our Commercial Partners

Mates Win has paid affiliate relationships with the following platforms:

If a third platform appears on the Site, such as in a comparison table or passing reference, and we do not have a paid relationship with it, we note that explicitly.

3. How Commission Works

When you click a referral link on this Site and register at one of our partnered platforms, that platform records the referral and credits Mates Win with a share of the revenue you subsequently generate for them (typically a percentage of net gaming revenue over time). This is called a revenue-share or "rev-share" arrangement and is the most common model in the iGaming affiliate industry.

In some campaigns we may earn a one-off CPA (cost-per-acquisition) fee for a qualified registration plus deposit instead of — or in addition to — a revenue share. Both models are standard.

4. What Commission Does NOT Affect

5. How We Keep Reviews Honest

We publish reviews that are useful to players first. A review that overstates a platform's strengths might convert a higher percentage of visitors in the short term, but it erodes trust, it damages our long-term traffic, and it means players register at a platform that doesn't actually suit them. That's bad for the player and bad for business.

Specifically:

6. FTC, ACCC and Australian Consumer Law Compliance

Several jurisdictions require affiliate marketers to disclose material connections with the companies they promote:

7. Content That Is Not Affiliate-Linked

Not every link on Mates Win is an affiliate link. Internal navigation (menu, breadcrumbs, footer) and links to external resources — such as government responsible-gambling services, news articles or educational material — are standard non-commercial links. External links to government and support services use rel="nofollow" so that no SEO credit is passed commercially.

8. What This Means for You

Reading Mates Win is free. Using the livechat is free. Registering at Crikey7, Bonza7 or Dinkum33 is free. If you like what we publish and you register at a partnered platform through our link, we earn a commission from that platform — and that's what pays for the server, the content, the livechat operator and the engineering team that keeps the site running.

If you prefer not to use our referral link for any reason, you can always register directly on any platform's own site. Our goal is for Australian players to end up at a platform that suits them — whether the click comes through us or not.

9. Questions and Complaints

If you believe a specific piece of content on the Site is inaccurate, misleading, or insufficiently discloses a commercial relationship, please let us know via the livechat on our home page. We take disclosure compliance seriously and will investigate within one business day.
